ABSTRACT:This research paper presents a comparative study of monolithic and microservices architectures. It analyzes key performance metrics such as scalability, execution time, fault tolerance, deployment strategies, and system complexity. The objective is to help developers and organizations choose the appropriate architecture based on system requirements. The study highlights that while monolithic architecture is simple and efficient for small-scale applications, microservices provide flexibility and scalability for large distributed systems.
