Abstract :
The objective of this study is to evaluate the impact of a physical fitness training program on the sports performance ability of kabaddi players. In this study, selected kabaddi players were included in a structured physical fitness training program, which comprised exercises related to strength, endurance, speed, agility, and balance. The training program was implemented regularly for a fixed duration.
Before and after the training program, the players’ physical fitness and sports performance–related parameters were assessed, and the results were compared. The findings clearly indicate that after the physical fitness training program, players showed statistically significant improvement in speed, agility, endurance, and overall sports performance.
The study concludes that a scientific and well-planned physical fitness training program plays an effective role in enhancing the sports performance ability of kabaddi players. This research can prove useful for coaches and players in designing effective training plans.
