ABSTRACT:Sports player auctions involve selecting players, managing team budgets and competing with other teams through live bidding. Managing these activities manually using spreadsheets or paper records can be difficult especially when many teams are involved. This paper presents SportsBid an Android based application developed to make sports player auctions easier to manage. The application allows team owners to view player information, place bids, track their budget and monitor the current auction status. Firebase Realtime Database is used to update auction information between users while local storage helps users access previously loaded information when the internet connection is weak or temporarily unavailable. SportsBid also provides an AIbased price analysis feature. It considers information such as the players role, performance statistics, base price and current bid. Based on these details the system provides a simple suggestion such as Steal, Fair, or Overpriced to help the team owner during the bidding process. The final bidding decision remains with the user. The application is developed using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, MVVM ( Model-View-ViewModel ) architecture, Firebase and local database support. The main purpose of SportsBid is to reduce manual work and provide a convenient platform for conducting sports player auctions.
