Abstract :This research paper presents a comparative study of ancient and modern cultures. Culture serves as the fundamental identity of any society; it is a collective manifestation of a society's value system, traditions, beliefs, art, language, social institutions, and technology. In ancient culture, great importance was placed on religion, morality, traditions, and collective living. In contrast, modern culture prioritizes individual freedom, science, technology, and globalization.

This study deeply considers historical, social, economic, and technical factors. By analyzing the similarities and differences between both cultures, the research examines their profound impacts on society. The findings suggest that while ancient culture provided a value-based direction to society, modern culture has accelerated the pace of development and progress. However, modernity has also led to a decline in moral values and the emergence of environmental problems. Therefore, a perspective of balanced development is essential.
